QUESTIONS

From maternity & newborn to full family sessions, both in your home or out in nature!

I have plenty of beautiful places I visit often for family photography. There are local reservoir walks, moorlands, woodlands, the beach, or towns and cities like Leeds, York, Harrogate and Knaresborough. If you already have an idea of a location let’s have a chat and see if it will work, or I can suggest a location if you’re struggling! I also do plenty of newborn, maternity and family sessions at your home. This is great when you have a tiny baby or nervous children who prefer the comfort of their own surroundings.

By prior arrangement- I prefer to know in advance if there are a lot more family members joining you such as grandparents as I may suggest you need to book in a longer session, or just find out more about what you’d like to achieve from your session with me.

Of course- my galleries link to Loxley colour for photographic prints or you can order albums or fine art prints directly from me- I use a company called Folio for this.

Usually up to 4 weeks for family photography depending on my work load, some seasons are busier than others. .

This is definitely a personal choice and it’s best to feel like yourselves and feel comfortable however in my opinion neutral colours work beautifully and compliment each other well, they tend to look good with most skin tones and don’t cast any interesting colours on your skin should the light hit them. That being said- dress for the weather, leave bags and buggies in the car where possible (obviously depending on the location). At home sessions, if you’re hoping for images of your baby in less clothing for details like feet- ensure it is warm enough in your home and have a blanket handy!

The Springett Family- Outdoor full family session 2023

Leanne has just done an outdoor family photo shoot for us and I can’t recommend her enough! I’m so impressed she managed to get such gorgeous photos, with the 3 year old, 7 month old and the dog all looking at the camera at the same time! She was very friendly and put us at ease straight away, my husband and I don’t really like having our photos taken but she managed to get us to relax and enjoy ourselves.
