tips for your motherhood session

tip 1:

There doesn't need to be a super huge grin (especially if that feels uncomfortable to you) look at your child/ bump/ mother and think loving thoughts- even if they screamed all morning! That look of love will be captured forever.

the look of love

tip 2:

Nose to nose. Cheek to cheek. Stroke their hair. Cradle your bump. Gently touch faces, noses, hands. Hold hands. Whisper. Snuggle. Kiss on the cheek, forehead, toes... you get the idea- get close!

get closer

tip 3:

Tickles, lifts in the air anything to get a giggle or two. And if all else fails and your toddler/ baby/ child is sad and not feeling it, do your best to comfort them, we spend half our lives doing this as mothers- reality needs a memory or two as well, some of my favourite moments I've captured have been of parents comforting their little ones. Also- never feel you have to apologise for your child's feelings, personality, behaviour. I am in no way ever shocked or disappointed by a child behaving as a child does and have a lot of love and patience for each of them!

make them laugh
